What is the optimist center?

We are a coworking and retreat space located in Woodstock, Vermont. We have collaborative workspaces in two rooms on our first floor, an open yoga and conversation space on our second floor and a studio apartment on our third floor. There is also space on the third floor to sit and have isolated conversation as well. You can have a virtual tour of our space here.

how do you operate?

We are a membership-based space where members of the Optimist Center pay a monthly fee to have either 9-5/M-F access or 24/7 access to the space. We are owned and operated by Advance Humanity, a Certified B Corporation run by Travis Hellstrom. "B" stands for Benefit Corporation meaning that the company is run with a social mission to benefit the our community and our planet as well as make a profit. Other Certified B Corporations include Patagonia, Seventh Generation, Ben & Jerry's, the Honest Company and many more. You can find out more about the B Corp movement at BCorp101.com.
